hue and danang airports are both approximately 60 minutes flying time from ho chi minh or ha noi. in addition there are direct flights from singapore to danang.

vedanā lagoon resort and spa is just 25 minutes from hue airport and 60 minutes from danang international airport by car.

vedanā lagoon - hue; free sightseeing tour to the citadel, thien mu pagoda, tropical garden, and back to vedanā lagoon

9.00 am
depart from vedanā lagoon to the citadel. this takes 50 minutes during which time you can enjoy the landscape, watch buffalos ploughing ricefields and vietnamese farmers working on their farms.

9.50 am to 11.00 am
hue citadel. contemplate the beauty of the forbidden purple city. the huge task of rebuilding received a boost in 1993 when unesco listed hue as a world heritage site. take about 1 hour to visit this beatiful place.

11.15 am to 12.00 pm
leave the citadel and drive along the bank of perfume river to thien mu pagoda. the 7-storey octagonal tower is a symbol of hue. spend 45 minutes visiting the oldest pagoda in hue.

12.00 pm
pick up at the bus stop and transfer to the tropical garden restaurant. 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm is your free time. you can have lunch in a restaurant and go shopping at handicraft shops or galleries. alternatively, just take a rest a cafeteria and view the daily life of hue people.

3.00 pm
return to the resort, perhaps to enjoy the sunset over the lagoon.
